Compass Points Challenge 2009

Welcome to the Compass Points Challenge, 2009. This is a pretty easy challenge but I wanted something do-able for my first attempt at hosting. Between March 1, 2009 and August 31, 2009, you must read one book each with a title echoing the four main compass points: North, South, East, and West. These can be from any genre, fiction or non-fiction but they must have the word north, south, east, or west in the title. Bonus points to anyone reading Ellen Raskin's The Westing Game, which was the inspiration for this challenge. :-)

Be sure to leave a comment and add yourself to Mr. Linky to sign up.

  8. The AwardWinners-Classics Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AwardWinners-Classics/) has chosen Elizabeth Gaskell's "North and South" for its April read. It might be of interest to anyone doing this challenge - with the added advantage that the book can serve for either of two compass points!
